On this day in 1946, the IBPFM commissioned Rev. and Mrs. Dwight Malsbary for service in Korea. The couple sailed in January 1949, starting one of the most prolific ministries in Korea, during a very difficult period. Known as a teacher, preacher, evangelist, accomplished pianists, and defender of the faith, Dr. Malsbary was killed in an auto accident in 1977 in Korea. Mrs. Malsbary joined him in glory in 1984.
