Ministering for the Lord in Brazil, Cameroon & USA

December, 2025

Dear Friends,

Ken used the above scripture in a message at a Faith Presbytery meeting, outlining the difference between Jehoshaphat and the prophet Micaiah.  Jehoshaphat was a good king but he had one important fault.  He did not believe in separation and united with the ungodly like Ahab to have big deals.  Micaiah was a prophet all by himself who prophesied ruin for the big expedition of Jehoshaphat and Ahab against the Syrians.  They did come to ruin, Ahab was killed, and Jehoshaphat barely escaped with his life.  As Jehoshaphat returned from the battle he was met by another single prophet who reproved him for his lack of separation.  This is a good lesson for today when Christians forget about separation and unite with the ungodly to have big deals.

BRAZIL

In September, we put out the spring edition of our journal, The Fundamentalist, all over Brazil, with a front page article entitled “Charlie Kirk – Martyr.”  The people in Brazil follow closely what goes on in the US and the journal can give an American Christian perspective on things.

On the back page we also had an article entitled “Christians Around the World,” where we pointed out that Christians in Iran, India, and China witness even though they are severely persecuted.   Christians in the US and Brazil don’t witness because it would make them feel awkward.  In our next prayer letter, we will write about the other articles in the journal.

BIBLE-LANDS TOUR

In October, the two of us took a tour to Greece and Israel with a preacher, Bill Perkins, from Idaho, who has led 65 tours to Israel.  The tour had one busload of about 50 people and was 17 days long.  We retraced the journeys of Paul and saw the ruins of Athens, Ephesus, Philippi, Thessalonica, and Berea.  In Israel, we went to Caesarea, Galilee, and Jerusalem.  We saw where Paul and Jesus walked and it made the Bible come alive.  Here is a picture of us in Ephesus near the actual theater where the crowd cried “Great is Diana of the Ephesians.”

We were also able to do some witnessing on the trip.  Here is a picture of some of the tracts we gave out in Greek, Hebrew, Turkish, and of course English.  We had good talks witnessing to some people in addition to the tracts.

USA

Our “circuit riding” ministry has continued to the churches of Kingsville, Collingswood, and Marcus Hook.  Faith Presbytery’s fall meeting was held at Kingsville back in September where Ken was moderator.  Also, the Marcus Hook church held its annual Thanksgiving service where the presbytery in this area got together.

We are working with the ICCC, where Ken is the General Secretary and is involved in preparations for the 22nd World Congress in Kenya, July 22-29, 2026.  Ken also continues to serve on the Smyrna Town Council, trying to represent the taxpayers against raises in taxes.  On the left is a picture of Ken giving a “Hometown Hero” award to a veteran on Veterans Day.

Finally, our granddaughter, Leah, is doing well, stable, and still receives treatments for the cancer.  Ira`s brother, Uruba, had an operation for his cancer and is taking chemotherapy.

Again, our thanks for all your prayers and gracious support.

In His service,
Ken and Ira Olson
