December, 2025
Dear Friends in Christ,
Another year is nearly gone and we all should wonder what have we done for our Lord this year? The two of us look back and thank Him for all He has done for us, how He has provided, and for the many blessings we have received.
Looking overseas, the Lord has blessed the pastors and people we served with in the Ukambani region of Kenya with hybrid seed corn this year. However, so far the rains have been very little, so please pray that rains will continue to be sufficient to produce crops. We are very sad that the Bethel Bible and Technical Schools have been without students for a few months. Would you pray with us that God would speak to the hearts of the young people and call them to study and be better equipped to serve Him?
Also, as a matter of prayer, please remember Paul Wilson, an IPC pastor, who has been diagnosed with TB, and is to rest three months. Naturally, he will be unable to pastor his church.
We are so thankful for the S.O.M.E. team that went to Kenya this past June and were able to work with the Gideons in giving out God’s Word. Among other good works, they distributed over 65 Bibles and 15,000 Gideon New Testaments. Pray that the Word will speak to hearts and change lives for God’s glory.
Do you remember Joel Musee, who Gary brought to the States in 2003 for surgery on his jaw to remove a very large tumor? Well, God continues to bless as he and his wife welcomed their second son into their family. Joel is a pastor in a small church near his home.
We were also thrilled when we recently talked with Jim and Melody Bjur in Chile. Their news was that two Venezuelan ladies, and a Chilean lady who attend their church, have accepted Christ as their Savior. God is working in hearts all over the world!
The Bible Club continues in our home, mostly on Monday evenings. The children are learning the books of the Bible and the Lord’s Prayer, listening to a Bible story, and watching a Superbook video. Pray for their growth in the Lord.
As we come to the close of the year 2025, we want to thank each of you for your faithful prayers, letters and cards, as well as kind financial support. We thank you for serving with us. You are a great and necessary part of our labor for our Lord! Dear friends, we wish you a very Merry Christmas and a Blessed New Year.
Thou art my hiding place; thou shalt preserve me from trouble; thou shalt compass me about with songs of deliverance. Selah. I will instruct thee and teach thee in the way which thou shalt go: I will guide thee with mine eye.
Psalm 32:7-8
In His Service,
Gary and Pat Johnson
