Ministering for the Lord in Brazil, Cameroon & USA

March, 2026

 Dear Friends,

As we have said before, there are great opportunities today for ordinary people to minister in nursing homes, with their concentration of the sick and infirmed.  Recently, we received a thank-you card from the sister of someone who had passed on, that we had regularly visited.  It brought home a great reason for these visits. She wrote, “You and Ira helped to lift her spirits and brighten her day.”

BRAZIL

In September and October of last year, our Spring issue of “The Fundamentalist” was sent all over Brazil, mostly in hard copies, but digitally as well.  In our last prayer letter, we told of the lead article on Charlie Kirk (pictured right). Other articles in that issue were:  1) “How to Soften the Message of the Gospel – Making to Cease the Offense of the Cross” by Thomas Scott.  2) “The Church of Philadelphia – The Fundamentalist Church of Today” 3) A resolution from the last ICCC Congress – “Music in the Life of the Christian and of the Church”. 4) A full-page ad for the ICCC Congress in Kenya this coming July. 5) An article on Amnon and Tamar, by a Brazilian pastor who came to Collingswood for the last Congress.

We also received a letter addressed to “The Fundamentalist” from a Brazilian pastor in the Amazon jungle who says, “I exercise my ministry, above all with the small rivers and in the small highways, where live a people needy of almost everything, above all of the Word of God.”  He asked for tracts, so to begin with we sent him 550 Portuguese tracts on January 15.   Pictured here is just one of those tracts.  Please pray that he gets them, as packages can “disappear” in the mail, and, that he does not have to pay customs fees.   Even if he does receive them, it could take months for them to arrive.

CAMEROON

We are going to try to help some pastors from Cameroon to be able to attend the ICCC Congress in Kenya.  The dean of the seminary in which Ken taught has already registered.

 USA

We continue our circuit-riding ministry between Marcus Hook, PA; Kingsville, MD; and Collingswood NJ.  Recently we had to cancel church for two weeks due to the heavy snow.  Ken continues to preach verse- by-verse out of Revelation, II Kings, and I Corinthians.  John Gross Jr. gave a nice Christmas organ concert in Collingswood.  Faith Presbytery will have its next meeting in Collingswood in March, at which Ken will preach the opening sermon.

Recent health matters for prayer in our family are as follows.  Leah continues her treatments but is doing well.  Ira`s brother, Uruba, continues his cancer treatments.  Ken had a hernia operation on February 11 and is recovering well.  Ken`s sister Corinne`s husband, Steve, had a heart attack, and was airlifted to the hospital. He had three stents put in, and is now recovering.  Our son, Mark, and his wife, Lydia, went to Egypt to be with her father, who was not well. However, in God’s providence he passed away at the end of February. May the God of all comfort minister to the family.

Thanks for all your prayers and support, which make this ministry possible.

In His service,
Ken and Ira Olson
