Update: Ruth S. Gross Serving the Lord in the USA

November 2018

“For unto us a child is born Unto us a son is given … And His name shall be called … The Everlasting Father.” Isaiah 9:6

The child who was born in Bethlehem, who gave His life for thee is not alone thy Savior and King, but “His name shall be called THE EVERLASTING FATHER.” In His everlasting love, within His everlasting arms, within His Father-heart, thou shalt find safety, rest, and comfort.

Dear Support Co-Laborers,

I often think of our mission here in this light: We must, through much tribulation, enter the Kingdom of God. When the flood of prosperity ebbs, the Holy Spirit finds treasures hidden in the sands. When death appears, faith points to the Light of Resurrection beyond the grave; therefore, making our dying to be our living, glorifying Him who is called the Shepherd and Store of Israel. Acts 14:22, Luke 19:40.

Our River Common’s ministry and Bible study is a treasure and more. We love to begin by singing our rich faith-building hymns. We listen to Pastor Brevick dispense nuggets of truth from the Word of God, making a treasure store for us to reflect on and contemplate. Romans10:17.

On a personal note, one treasure that I cherish was the celebration of my ninetieth birthday in October. Four of my five sons were present as we enjoyed God’s blessing of fellowship and love. Please pray for my son David as he battles cancer.

Finally, Co-Laborers, pray for the work of the Holy Spirit to produce those chosen to be His treasured possessions. Deuteronomy 14:2

God bless each of you as we worship the King of Kings, and Lord of Lords. As the shepherds were in the field abiding over their flocks by night, God with man is now residing, yonder shines the infant light; worship with our lives, come and worship Christ the newborn King.

Devotedly,

Mrs. Ruth Sligh Gross
