In India, Christians faced violence and injury as those opposed to the gospel stoned, slashed, and terrorized local believers. At least 18 incidents were reported in 4 different states. In Kowad village, 20 men burst into the December 23 service and began slashing those in attendance with sharp objects. They were stopped when the pastor's mother threw ground red pepper in their faces. Pray for those who are in intensive care for their injuries.
