The Bjurs thank the Lord for a new year in which to serve Him! They praise the Lord for his mercies in their children’s travels back to the States, and for several of the church young people who traveled down to Santiago for a music course, to learn to play instruments in the church. Pray for Abis, the husband of a Venezuelan believer, who was stabbed in the heart in December. They thank the Lord for his miraculous survival, but ask prayer for continued recovery so that he can work, and especially that he will understand and believe the gospel now that he is seeking God.
