Outreach in India

 August, 2019

Dear Friends and Prayer Warriors,

I am happy to greet you once again. Twice a year I greet you and present the prayer items to you all. I am so glad that I have praying friends, as prayer can do great things beyond our expectations. During my time in the USA, and in all my journeys, I had many more opportunities to witness for the Lord. For example, when I returned to India from the USA back on March 20 of this year, I had to change planes at the Doha airport. It has been my experience to talk about Jesus Christ and His salvation to those who are around. It was a Muslim country’s airline (Qatar Airways), so all the staff was Muslim. One air-hostess (Fatima) was very helpful to me as I am an old man. I shared the Gospel with her. She was interested, and when I landed in New Delhi airport, somebody was patting my shoulder while I was waiting for the baggage. It was the same lady. She told me that she was thankful because she had never heard this much about Jesus Christ the Savior. So I am happy to live for the Lord Jesus Christ. The Gospel is never returned without any fruit. We do continue our ministry to proclaim the Gospel and distribute New Testaments, including Psalms and Proverbs. Two hundred more copies of these books have been handed to the needy people. One man, Mr. Vinod Yadav, and his wife and four children (all Hindu) attend our worship services, and I do share the Gospel with them as much as possible.

As the Kannauj Church is growing in number, we found it is necessary to have a sound system. We did announce the need in the church on the first Sunday of July. We received promises of help on that day and the following period. One brother, a Mr. Sanjay, right away gave Rs.1000 (US$14.00). So we continue and our great God in heaven has approved our needs. On July 30, we bought a sound system from a far place, and fixed it in the church room. We still need more help to connect everything, and those who are willing may contribute something to this field in time. Your help will be rewarded from our Heavenly Father.

Tomorrow, there will be a prayer meeting of about 60 people in my own residence. Your prayers are requested for the outcome. Also, we have arranged a one-day retreat on August 24th in the church room. Some important families have come forward to help in this matter also.

Praying for all of you that God may bless you richly. Let me remain,

Yours ever from His Vineyard,
